Mail Call! Star Wars AND WWE? September 2024 Week 1 Breaks.

  • by

Alright, if you weren’t aware, if you head over to https://patreon.com/jeffmay/membership, you can get cards Jeff breaks sent right to you in the mail! And it turns out I don’t just help Jeff put on his videos and log em, I’m also a member, so I’m gonna run down what cards I’d be interested in, as well as suggestions for others.

Another key note is that comments on the actual video get precedence! So if there’s a sweet card you think multiple people may want? Well, get in the comments as soon as possible. Also, make sure over at https://youtube.com/@jeffhascoolcards, you’re subscribed and alerted when Jeff goes live! The first week of September was awesome in that not only did Jeff break some great Star Wars cards, but he also had a mailbag, which, hey, meant even more cards! Let’s review!

9/4/2024 Star Wars Unlimited – Shadows of the Galaxy

As a nerd, can I say one thing about this set? I love that Star Wars Unlimited has a very filterable and queryable website with all their cards! Also, I did find a handy site with odds for pull rates: https://cardgamer.com/games/star-wars/shadows-of-the-galaxy-pull-rates/. This box had 24 packs, and a hyperspace rare has a 1/15 chance, just if you were wondering.

9/6/2024 Mailbag and 2023 Panini Chronicles WWE

It’s also fun to check out what Jeff likes grabbing in terms of comics! I’m a sucker for WWE cards, and the 2023 Chronicles from Panini is an excellent set.

My September Wish List

To stay fair, I will limit myself to one card a break.

Qi’Ra (Master or Teras Kasi!)
Andre The Giant (Golden Age)

My Suggestions to You!

I’ll note my suggestions may not be the best cards in the set. Make sure to watch the whole videos yourself. I’ll limit myself to two a video and include a link to exact time stamp. Enjoy!

Werner Herzog!

Hyper Space Fennec Shand!
Hologram Razor Ramon
Hologram Becky Lynch

You may notice a theme in my selections. It’s hard not to love a callback to a Jeff podcast, be it a running gag on Tom and Jeff Watch Batman, or to Chun Li or Teras Kasi from Nerd! Beyond that, for nerds that love wrestling and Star Wars these breaks were great. Hey, cool news, we’re only a week into the month, so more to come!

We’ll see you soon where maybe I’ll break down even more cards I want or think you should want in the mail!
